Multi-use, portable and lightweight spill kit for intensive and frequent use on multiple and/or large scale spillages of cytotoxic drugs. High absorbency granules absorb and contain liquid spills. Absorbent pads and sterile water mop up powder spills. A custom solution is provided to neutralise cytotoxic residue of spill site and the surrounding area. Warn sign and colour coded, sealable bags are provided to aid safe disposal.
Used throughout the NHS in hospitals, clinics, surgeries, out-patient departments, pharmacies, laboratories; nursing and care homes and other locations where cytotoxic or chemotherapy drugs are handled and stored. Safe for use by non-specialist staff.
Conforms to UK Department of Health and WHO guidelines for safe clean up of cytotoxic spills.
Supplied gloves comply with ASTM D6978-05: Standard Practice for Assessment of Resistance of Medical Gloves to Permeation by Chemotherapy Drugs.
