Through its powerful oxidising action, it destroys all types of microorganisms and eliminates the possibility of cross-contamination between patients. Inferior disinfectants such as alcohol and QAC-based solutions are incapable of destroying harmful organisms. Tristel Duo is the best method for the high-level disinfection of endo-cavity ultrasound probes.

Tristel Duo is sporicidal, mycobactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal and bactericidal in 30 seconds. Chlorine dioxide has been tested in accredited laboratories worldwide and is proven effective against microorganisms of concern in ultrasound such as:

RECOMMENDED USE:

Tristel Duo for Ultrasound is designed specifically for the high-level disinfection of non-lumened endo-cavity ultrasound probes. Other uses include the high-level disinfection of non-invasive medical devices such as bladder scanners, transabdominal probes and blood pressure cuffs.
